The fire started in the kitchen while Lucy was in the bath distracted with some naughty thoughts. Her neighbor Sam comes to the rescue, playing the fireman and saving then house from burning down. Lucy is dripping wet and wrapped in a towel. Sam is tall and gorgeous with a slow Southern drawl. It's about to get very hot in the kitchen again ...

The story is told in first-person from Lucy's POV. Lucy recently broke up with her boyfriend, and she's feeling a little lonely and needy. As fate would have it, her blue-collar neighbor, the hunky Sam, comes to her rescue and puts out a fire in her kitchen. And one in the bedroom, too. To me, this short erotic fiction wasn't very hot; it was more like sexy with a feeling of romance to it.For me, this is soft erotica and kind of average at that, with a few graphic details and with a fairly nice story to it (good guy loves up the curvy, full-figured girl next door), while giving the reader a feeling of new love/romance to the couple and the sex involved. It is pretty well put together; I only noticed a couple of small mistakes, nothing major as is usually the case in some free erotica.
Fire Man only slightly warmed me up and didn't really fire me up. The actual story itself is 234 kindle locations, making for a quick, okay read, but when talking about erotica, I like something more than nice or average.

Fire Man edition by Emily Cantore Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Amazing
I enjoyed this story. Plain and simple it wasn't a wham bam thank you ma'am story, which is something that I look for when looking at short stories. I loved that there was finally a guy in the story that was a gentleman before getting rowdy. I loved how this story developed in a way that just didn't end in a one night stand. A very quick, but enjoyable read.
I downloaded this as a freebie on . What a pleasant surprise! I had not read anything by this author before but I will definitely read more of her works.
"Fire Man" is a very hot, sexy and well written short story. Lucy and Sam have great chemistry together. Sam is not a fireman as one might think based on the cover's title but he certainly comes to Lucy's aid (in more ways than one) when her stove catches fire.
At 271 locations, I read this in about 15 minutes. The story ends at 86% and is followed by promos of the author's other works.
